A Whale of a Tale: Commission
Commission done for 
darkside-the-orca of his character, Devon.
I'm really pleased with how this turned out. When it started off with flat colors, I was a bit disappointed in how it looked, but once I added shading and color tints within the skin, I really enjoyed how this turned out!
In addition, for those of you who may wonder about the water-reflection and bubbles, I found two beautiful brush packages on DeviantArt--under water reflection and another under, obviously, bubbles. :3
This was my first time doing an orca, and I had no idea how it was going to turn out, especially since I wasn't working with an actual furry critter.

Squee! Oh! I love this, an Orca! Hmm.... he looks sooooo familiar, now where have I seen him before. I... just can't place it. *snaps* Got it, it's lil' ol' meeee! Heh.
Well I'm honored to be your first drawn Orca! Heheh. Turned out really well! The skin is a bit on the lighter shade, but I understand that's from the reflection which might I had looks nice too! I have to say this is again I love commissioning you! You do sooo well! *hugs* Sadly this might be the last for a while, that is commissioning any artist for a while as I'm a poor college student >.< Have to save up! Heh.
