Confused? In the cartoon series, the Animaniacs were created in 1927 (despite, I've been told, Warner Bros not making cartoons that early). Checking out the "bible" for the actual series, it was mentioned that the siblings may have an extended family. So I figured Specs would be the "smart" cousin who appeared every once in awhile to offer advice or whatnot.
