the kaiju Vhanidonyx (Vora + Anisoptera + Is + Nidhogr + Baryonyx) , a chimeric serpentine monstrosity comprised of several prehistoric and extant animals' decomposition in oil, which emerged from stasis in an iceberg. Previously revered as some kind of divine monster or dormant god-creature, it led a destructive rampage northward when the climbing temperatures released it from its frozen cell, and it now resides privately in the farthest northern reaches of the world. It has been known to be relatively aloof and docile compared to fellow kaiju, avoiding large ships and impassively spectating animals and research crews from a distance, but has also engaged in brutal combat with other monsters and actively assaulted drilling operations nearing the arctic regions. Significant heat sends it into a frenzy, either fleeing or doubling down in its ferocity depending on how much control it has over the situation. There are rumours that its true ire is risen for divine or spiritual reasons, and that one can coerce the creature into attacking cities by way of ritual or prayer- it is true that it sometimes seems unpredictable and volatile for no fully understood motive.
Its diet is as yet not fully understood, but it doesn't seem particularly driven toward meat, and is likely omnivorous, with a compulsion toward viscous and synthetic materials (which has put it both in cahoots and conflict with other kaiju, such as Obigaida). Rumour has it that samples from the creature have been collected to attempt cloning of the extinct creatures which contribute to its dna, but no jurassic park has yet sprung up in its footsteps.
