Also, the Dark Souls community is awesome. Heck, it was part of the inspiration for one of the goddesses in my D&D group's homebrew universe - namely Imrash the Everburning. For one thing, she is the goddess of fire and hardship, with her followers believing that life's trials are a blessing in disguise. And for another thing, she's actually willing to forgive undead, converting them into "Rekindled" - properly living beings with only vestiges of their unlife remaining.
