Hello everyone! ^^
I wanted to ask your opinion on a certain matter. At first I wanted to write a journal, but way less people reads those. So you get a submission instead. :P Let me know what you think down below.
The matter in question is ADOPTABLES. For those who don't know what that is, it simply means I draw a character and then sell the design to whoever wishes to have it. Once purchased it, the interested person would have full rights on said character. They could commission or draw art of them, roleplay as them, write books or anything else they wanted.
I'll write term of service more in detail if I ever actually do this.
The reason I'm thinking about adoptables is because I've always enjoyed coming up with random character designs, often with outfits / weaponry as well. These characters usually never get drawn again and they vanish in the limbo of my gallery, and in some cases I think it's quite a shame. It would be great if someone who liked these character would keep them "alive" and make them grow, ya know?
At the same time, it would be a way to pay my bills and support my studies as well.
It would likely be something like a starting bid of 80 euros and an auto-buy of 200 euros. The design for sale would be inked and fully colored, so more or less this level of quality and detail > https://d.furaffinity.net/art/0laff....._swordsman.png
(this is just an example, nothing for sale yet, by the way)
Sooo.... yeah, what do you think? Would anyone actually be interested in this or not? Let me know ^^

I'm not personally interested in adopting characters, but there seems to be plenty of interest in the practice on this site. I think you can make some money at this, and that is always a good thing.
What I am interested in is anything that gets you to draw and post more!

Can't give you a reason to not do adoptables. They are quite common and liked in the Fandom. (And in some cases the only way to pay rent.)
But you should also be warned. After you sold your creations, the owner can literally do anything he wants with them.
Including yiff, Rule 34 and fetishes alla "I wish I hadn't googled". All at once.

I think this is a lovely idea. I have been admiring your character design for years. I like how you are able to put a lot of personal and details into the design. Also the whole "medieval" furry thing has always appealed to me. I would love to see what you make (and most likely purchase an adopt at some point).
