I) Horhum
This is the name of a race of creatures and several of their varieties. But most often this is the name for the individuals most similar to humans. Horhums have a human body with a horse's head and a human face. They also have a tail. They come in a variety of breeds and colors. In their traditions, it is customary to take care of their mane, both for men and women. Also, both genders wear translucent clothing, as an athletic body in their culture is an indicator of health. They do not wear shoes, believing that it "fetters" them. They are able to speak and eat with both a horse and a human head, but a horse makes more coarse sounds. In a conversation with an interlocutor, it is customary to speak with the same heads. Ignoring this rule is considered rude and disrespectful to the interlocutor and is forgiven only to children.
II) Priestesses
This is a more status type of Horhums. They have "the strength of the herd" on one of their hands. This is part of the abilities of their ancestors, who are worshiped by all Horhums. Priestesses also dress openly enough, but they are forbidden to either decorate or put on their "herd" on their hands. It is believed that this is the gift of the ancestors and the priestesses have no right to limit and decorate them.
The strength of the herd is to summon several ancestor horses for protection or other help. Priestesses are very important in Horhums society. Only they understand the progenitors and can communicate with them.
III) Progenitors
They are majestic, large representatives of their race. They are considered the ancestors of all Horhums. Each Horhum belongs to a certain herd (clan). The progenitors are extremely far from civilization. They control huge herds of horses. They also don’t wear any clothes, except for moments of communication with the priestesses. They adopt some habits a little and can wear jewelry. Only the mare can be the head of the herd and the progenitor. When she realizes that her term is coming to an end, she chooses a partner herself and brings up a replacement from her daughters. They also have the "strength of the herd" on their hand. But unlike the priestesses, the progenitors put on many ornaments and bridles on their herd. So their culture reflects complete submission to the head of the herd.
IV) Bastards
Despite the name, they are an important part of the herd. They educate priestesses (who are born only in the herd) and teach them the language, as well as how to use their power. They also train young horses. They keep order and relay messages to the priestesses in the city. They are like inconspicuous shadows that do a lot of important work. By birth, they are the children of progenitors who did not inherit their power.
