Leeric the Captain




Leeric was born in the far northen regions of the Shigu Republic and the URV in 1996. He is 19 by the time of 2015.


He was born into a family of entertainers, that traveled the URV and the Shigu Republic to make good money with their show, and due to their successes, his family purchased a hotel, that promoted their stage shows. By the time of “Shigu’s golden age” he joined the Shigu militant forces as a volunteer. Despite of him being afraid of such a service, he felt it necessary to defend the only nation he deemed his own, that being the Shigu republic. This service would lead him to also join Shigu’s military academy as a student in 2008, in order to avoid the real combat trainings that followed at the end of the admission. Unfortunately for him, he often got into a great amount of trouble because of his skipped initial battle training, which terrified him. He had already many fears that would limit his overall performance. He had a fear of firearms, and getting shot. He feared tanks and great heights, and especially he feared dying on the battlefield. Many considered him a coward, disregarding him as a fraud for joining a service he definitely wasn’t made for.

And, despite those hardships in that time, he had also made a handful of friends that felt pity for his misery. Kadd and Lyn, would soon show him what a true friendship really means, and he would slowly help him surpass his fears.


With Merryweather’s attack on Silviria in 2012, his unit was forced to fight against MW’s fury in the streets of city. It is at this time, that Leeric’s flaws started to appear in the combat he tried to avoid, making him unable to fight. Whilst on an engagement against an MW armored unit from a protected area, down in the southern districts of the city, beacuse his fear of tanks, Leeric never shot his AT weapon and had to be rescued by another friendly unit. And when his unit was pushed back to the Silves Palace, he almost passed out whilst he was trying to defend Rain, alongside Kadd. Rain saw the action and saved Leeric’s life, by evacuating him and Kadd’s unit and taking them to a safe place, where Rain took great care of him. Thinking of himself as a failure, Leeric swore to surpass his fear and swore loyalty for Rain, as he owned his life to her.


Leeric’s other fears however drew him fond to alcohol during his service, making him very problematic and sad. With anger, Kadd and Rain were the point where they had to take action and help him themselves. Kadd stood close to him, and always tried his best to discipline him.



For his courage however, he got promoted to Captain for several special Infantry brigades in Rain’s Army, where he was given the following awards, ranks and mentions:


-The Silves Award (Combined ribbon)

-The Shigu’s order of bravery (Blue Ribbon)

-2 Golden Lieutenant pins, which would later show the Rank of Captain.

-The Rank of Captain, Commander of 4 Special Infantry Brigades.



Leeric is also fond of “The Captain” as he thinks the fox Captain can help him surpass his fears too.
Rain sees Leeric as one of her greatest friend and loyal ally.
Kadd sees his friend more like a brother.
