League Card: Felicity
“Aw, that’s sweet. Did your brother give you that pangoro? Where did you get him?”
“Are you a patronizing fuckbag, or do you not know where pangoros come from? I got a pancham and raised it.”
Felicity Felix has a chip on her shoulder from a lifetime of people who think they mean well trying to coddle her a bit too much. She’s got mobility issues and can’t walk very far; so, the pancham that she diligently raised evolved into a pangoro that carries her around wherever she needs to go. He usually carries her so that she sits on one of his arms, but if she needs to get a better view of the field or if someone is annoying her she’ll sit on his shoulders.
For that reason, he’s technically a part of her team but is never actually in pokemon battles anymore; she’s effectively capped at 5 pokemon. However, she’s determined to make it work, even if her pokemon adventure is fueled almost entirely by spite and energy drinks.

Some random thoughts:
- I did not draw that background; it’s a screenshot. Just saying. Don’t sue me. xD
- I get the feeling that Spikemuth is the most likely to try to make something accessible.
- I write a lot of stories about people with disabilities and I have nooo idea why that could be. Ahem.
- I should be using my lunch break for something more productive than posting this, but I’m not.
- I should be working on existing stories instead of thinking of new ones. Not doing that, either.
Thinking of using the Pokemon Sword storyline and adding in an MC for a fanfic, much the same way that I did Obey Me. I actually did it one other time for Pokemon X, but I just realized that I didn’t move that over from my old account. Oops? Maybe now is a good time to freshen it up a bit and upload it again.

OMG! I LOVE THEM!!!
Way back when I was playing Diamond and Pearl I was thinking about how pokemon could help people with disabilities!
It just opened up a whole new world of possibilities for pokemon and trainers alike! Nobody would be denied their adventure at the proper age if they wished to go, they just needed to be paired with a proper pokemon to aid them on their way!
You know? Looking back at this, I think you and Zarla would get along wonderfully!

That was published in 2014, but their story is WAY older than that...
Like.... early Geocities old.....

Oh, man. That’s really amazing. I’m not sure why pokemon with disabilities didn’t also occur to me, but it’s such an interesting idea with so many possibilities. So many combinations that would be great for everyone.
I love the art, too! Thanks so much for sharing.
