"Well. . . Actually, it was three belly buddies and one snuggle skunk. It turns out there was a very good reason Marco van Bison was the only member of the Colorado Rapids quartet we never saw engaging in head noms."
Tera:
"They all got their own Verity? You didn't make them share one since they all represent the same team?"
Verity:
"Of course."
Tera:
"And they're all still together?"
Verity:
"Of course. Why wouldn't they be?"
Tera:
"Well. . . Information's been scarce, but the Rapids did announce their original mascot came out of retirement, and. . . I don't know, nobody's even talking about the quartet anymore."
Verity:
"So. . . Wait, they're gone? All four of them?"
Tera:
"I wish I knew. All the news is just that RapidMan's back."
Verity:
"Who?" (gets on the computer, does a Google search, and jaw-drops) "Oh they better not! Any one of those guys would've been great by themselves -- they better not be about to tell me they dumped all four of them for Kool-Aid Man's sugar-free step-brother!"
Tera:
"I'll let Deva know she should unlock four more bedrooms just in case." (shrugs) "Unless you think they'd be okay living inside you."
Verity:
"The one possible silver lining to this." (clacks away) "Sorry, but right now, I'm still a little too mortified to possibly be turned on by the thought of it."
