Bio: Mara is a succubus. One of many who served a demoness known as Akuku or The Empress. She met Sly when he ventured into the Spirit World to rescue Maneki and Luck who were taken there by The Empress' Steed who had come to retrieve another demoness that was hiding in the Mortal World and happened to be taking shelter at Sly's house. She was unaware that Sly had a demon side himself and fell victim to his abilities. She awoke some time later to find that not only was he gone, but that The Empress had been sealed by him and wouldn't be awakened for an unknown amount of time.
Angered that The Empress had been defeated, but also shamed by her own, Mara decided to take it upon herself to get revenge on Sly. She tracked him to the Mortal World and proudly declared that she would be taking him back to The Empress as her new slave and trophy. Unfortunately she underestimated him once again. And this time she found herself his captive. Time passed and with no rescue from The Empress or her other followers coming, she denounced her and submitted to Sly as his new slave. Initially she did this because he would feed her. And she knew that his energy was potent and plentiful. But once he set her loose she quickly went back to the Spirit World.
However she found there that while the Empress sleeps, her higher ranking underlings have taken control. And though they did not send help for her, they did not take her defection lightly. She was captured and tortured. She was only saved by Sly summoning her back to the Mortal Realm. Since then she will only venture into the Spirit World if it's inside of the pocket corner Sly's Demon form has dominion over. She knows that while he can be harsh, Sly does care for those under him and will protect her from her former allies.
She wears a gold collar that has a charm with a bit of Sly's essence in it. This protects her from being summoned by anyone but him. So as long as she stays in the Mortal Realm the chances of being found by one of the Empress' underlings is low. She infiltrated a failing strip club named Carnal Sins under the guise of being a new tryout dancer and brought a new exotic flair to the floor show. This in turn brought in more business and she's become one of the most popular dancers. (This was of course aided by her hypnotism abilities) She takes no paycheck and only makes the tips given to her when she dances. In return she lives in the decent sized loft above the club.
In addition to being barred from going to the Spirit World (Not that she would for obvious reasons) she is under strict rules by Sly not to draw negative attention to herself in the Mortal Realm. So while she can feed on mortals she is not allowed to kill them under any circumstances. This leads to her not being able to fully feed on them. As those she can bed are usually tired from the day and have little life force to give by the time they climax. So her main source of sustenance is Sly himself. A fact he relishes.
Mara's friend and fellow succubus Angelica came to the Mortal Realm looking for her. The mouse feared for her own safety under The Empress' underlings and escaped. Mara introduced her to Sly and the mousette now serves him alongside Mara.
