I once again did a Single-Pokemon playthrough, and this time I beat Black with just a Simisear named Pizzazz!
Since one of my favorite starter Pokemon ever is Oshawott, I've done quite a few playthroughs of Black and White where I get the Pansear at the beginning of the game, only use it in the first gym, and then never use it again, so I thought it would be kinda neat to actually do a playthrough using JUST that Pansear. Also, to make it extra funny, a few years ago (I think it was during the Gen 6 era) Pokemon did a bunch of polls in Japan to rank Pokemon in a bunch of different categories, and in the poll for most popular Pokemon, Simisear was actually the Pokemon at the very bottom, officially making it Japan's most hated Pokemon :3
As for how the playthrough went, the first two gyms were really hard because Pansear's lowest stat is it's special attack (which to those of you who don't know is usually the most important stat for Fire types because most Fire type moves especially early game are special), but once I got both Bite and Flame Burst with Charcoal, I was able to pretty easily sweep through the rest of the game up to the league. I did have to do a bit of post-Elite Four grinding so I could beat Ghetsis, but this isn't the first time I've had to do so, so it wasn't that bad.
