Skunks are awesome. Make great pets too! So cute. But as pets, i'd definitely recommend de-scenting. One scare and your house would never be the same...

I like them just coming around the yard, I know id love one as a pet but not right now and not one of these guys, they're quite happy being out and about with the rest eating cookies lol

A long time ago I usedto pick em up like kittens and bring them into the house to show my grandmother, but she obviously thought it was a bad idea and asked me to please "GET THAT FUCKING THING OUT OF MY HOUSE!!! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU BRINGIN THAT IN HERE?!"
They never sprayed they were always very friendly and happy to be there. ^_^
I prolly wouldnt do that now though, shed friggin kill me.

Omnomnom, Delicious. I love skunks, they're so cute and stinky! Sorta like babies... except you leave them alone and you *won't* get into trouble!

They love me I usedto pick em up n they were cool with it, but I don't know this generation of them too well and they seem pretty content with staying over a foot away from me, and cautiously eating cookies that I hand them. ^_^

I came around the corner and there were 4 baby ones all crowded to my feet cautiously with thier tails up like a little firing squad lol. I was scared and happy to see them all lol, I love these little guys, im sure you got some around your place, they're pretty damn common

In SW PA? Yeah, They're REALLY common, but They don't tend to hang around my house when I'm awake... Of course, I don't wake up until 2 PM anyways soooo... hehe.

Well, they're never really Malevolent in any regards... unless they've got rabies or some disease and they attack, but that's rare for skunks. Yeah, We have foxes around here a lot, and I WANT so bad to see one of those, but those are so elusive... I've seen more skunks than foxes- sneaky little buggers. Oh! and did your head explode from cute overload when that happened? Mine would've.

Skunks don't normally show signs of having rabies, they're more hosts to the disease then victims.
They may not show signs of it until they simply die from it.

Ah, so they're a bit "stronger" than dogs, so to say... and I know, I just love them so much ^.^

Daww so cute, I'm wanting to start a petition to make them legal to have as pets here in WA. They're afraid that "Pet skunks would be a major vector for spreading rabies".
