New 20gal tank for my eleven African Giant Millipedes. You can see one on the left, in front of the yellow food dish waving hello. Got two of them at 24months, 6.5 inches. The rest are about 18 months I think...4.5 inches. I spent all morning setting up the new tank as they are reaching sexual maturity (the older ones anyway..) But, after sexing the little buggers (watch belly through clear glass...look for claspers on male) I'm disappointed to learn that they are ALL female. Fuck. There is some hope. One is getting ready to molt....couldn't disturb it...hopefully it will be my ace in the hole , otherwise I'm boned. They're hard enough to find for sale, and when you do..at this age..very expensive. Unless I can trade with someone...
