Long, long ago, long before Internet Meme t-shirts, polyester fabrics, and factory textiles were a thing, people hand made their clothes from thread of wool, silk, and pelts.
Doing some research of fashion through western history starting with the middle to medieval ages. Around the 14th century, the common materials used is wool, upper-classes do have access to silks (which is cooler during the warmer temperatures). Dyed fabrics are relatively easy to make that in some of the old paintings even the peasant class would have brightly colored fabrics, and again Silk has differently properties than wool and thus are sought after because of how they are colored by the dyes as well.
Men wore tight fitting tights and leggings, and the upper class women wore head scarves and large dresses, mostly for modesty (and highly suspected conservative patriarchal enforced modesty). As for women’s rights back then, the peasant class women have relatively more freedom compared to the upper class women, who are more likely to be either property of their husbands and fathers or be sent to the nunnery, and not many of them have access to education or literature though for some not without trying.

To be honest, I’m not all too sure. The wolf from my research is a knight in the 14th century, the Lion is definitely a Monarch. But the Tigress could be a courtesan? (Not sure how the courtesan, mistress, harem situation worked back in the medieval times)
I think knights often come into money and are from a family of money or knights (after all, the knights serve the king, it would not be in the king’s interest to underpay his soldiers, not good for loyalty I can imagine).
