I appreciated John for what he was worth, but he started to cross the line starting from last episode and I am very glad that he did not overstay his welcome.
I think it's a really solid F4 at this point, any of them could have a potential winning storyline... rooting for Andrew to pull it off though.
(Also I totally called the injuries being an elimination flag lmao)

Well injuries (either slight or big, and the only big one we had yet was Crispin's) actually affect the engine roll, so it was quite a sensible deduction :)
John was supposed to be a minor character in the story, since he went out before F4 and wasn't really central to any storyline (other than him winning all team challenges but one while being unable to become captain). He ended up taking a lot of space because he was too good of a villain to pass on, so I'm glad that he had his fans and that he was a good character to root against if anything :)

And then Kenneth and Cassie were never seen again as the she-badger foolishly allows her hair to dangle in the water and gets dragged away in the process, while her male lead is attacked by other fishy behemoths as he dives in to rescue her.
American Mustelid Alpha: Coral Reef Edition
In all seriousness, I liked who you pitted in the duel for this segment. It brings a lot of personal drama out for those competing against each other. The only thing I'd have altered is having all four of them battle it out at the same time instead of in groups of two.

HELL YEAH!!! And John Blake is outta here!!!
Way to go Greasy Z!!!
Also, damn, knew that Eddie had a little plan in mind, but did not expect him to go for Aaron like that, to be honest.
Also, even though I was rooting for him, I honestly did NOT think he would win it.
This episode has been nothing but pleasant surprises! Thank you for a truly amazing one, yet again~!

You're welcome, dude! I have a soft spot for this episode. We were given a great storyline to start with and it all ended up tying together amazingly, setting up a terrific top4 for the final stretch!
I have to admit, I was a bit worried when John reached the endgame in our simulation because I knew he would be a super polarizing character and he might have turned off some readers. But I think that as a villain, he played his role pretty well and ended up being quite memorable and effective :)
