Yingtai is a Gardevoir possessing strong Diancie genes.

Born to an incredibly wealthy and influential merchant, from a young age her father raised and prepared her for the eventual future of her inheriting his 'economic empire'. Gifted with a keen eye and calculating wit, Yingtai was a natural when it came to her father's teachings and learned very quickly on how to spot out profitable opportunities. Upon becoming an adult, her father had nothing left to teach Yingtai, however he had one requirement left before she could inherit the business: To gain experience.

Before he became a successful businessman, her father was an adventurer who traveled the world. The experience he gained from his travels is what allowed him to become as successful as he is now, and thus desires Yingtai to obtain her own experience so that she can observe the world through more than just numbers. Thus Yingtai was (begrudgingly) sent out from the comforts of her home, to form her own adventuring party so that she may obtain enough 'hands-on experience' so that her father can be satisfied.

Not only does she possess an impressive intellect, she also possesses a very impressive combat prowess due to her Gardevoir and Diancie genes. She can manifest and utilize gems made of pure psychic energy, said gems being capable of being utilized as projectiles and barriers. Although these gems eventually disappear due to them being comprised entirely of psychic energy, their effectiveness in combat is something that Yingtai frequently takes advantage of when words alone fall short.

Note: As the official leader of the adventuring party, she named her group the 'Wayward Fortune'. The 'Fortune' stands for her goal of making a profit while she experiences the world in its fullest, and the 'Wayward' comes from the fact that despite being a leader, things never quite go as planned due to how her party behaves.
