Umber the character is just like, a pendulum for me. 'On one hand, I'm pretty sure she would fight me if I made eye contact. On the other, I think she wants a high five before moshing to some WICKED metal.'

I like to pretend that this is 'Hrm. Do I kick this fish's ass, or do I go all 'sup'?' contemplation.

You are spot on. Umber's personality is basically me - tending to give off the vibe of not wanting to be bothered or fucked with, but really just wanting to chill (it's not even intentional, behind this goth and metal exterior is big social anxiety!)
