Now in living color, Jaggy the Jaguar has announced that all previous and upcoming console showcases will now be digitally made with color! To celebrate this great change, Jaggy has showcased the Game Boy Color!
Released in 1998, the Game Boy Color was basically an upgraded Game Boy that included sixteen colors for the eye to see! Not only was it backwards compatible with the original Game Boy, but it also made it so that the older games would display color, something that not a lot of handheld consoles could do at the time. Displayed on this picture are box art for various amazing games for the Game Boy Color, including Shantae, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Mario Golf, Pokemon Pinball, Pokemon Crystal, Zelda: Oracle of Ages, and Tetris DX! Combined with the original Game Boy, these two handhelds sold over 118 million units worldwide, making them some of the most sold Nintendo consoles of all time!
