Months of siege and trench warfare had taken its toll on the besieged canine world of Forage. It's cities and industry lay in complete ruin and its defenses shattered and broken. Despite capitulation seemingly invertible, the last Unitary army division that remained standing continued to resist the invading forces, intending to bring as many of the enemy with them until the bitter end. It was to be the Forage 44th infantry division's last stand against the invading armies. However, the enemy blockade fleet in space was almost entirely annihilated in a massive space battle allowing Unitary reinforcements to pour in from orbit. Now reinforced by dozens of army divisions and navy support, the 44th led by infamous Unitary army general Sherman Lee quickly took advantaged of this new turn of events and led a massive counter attack against the enemy forces, rushing out of defensive positions and into the enemy lines.
