Actually you are wrong. Don't correct someone if you don't know the purpose of the corset. The corset is used for waist cinching. Corset training is when a woman wears undersized corsets and forces her waist smaller. Some women get waists as tiny as 16" from training. It isn't to make the breasts larger, though it can give that appearance because the ribcage is pressed upwards when a corset is worn properly.

Also, corsets only have lacing in the front and back and have boning along the sides, front, and back, which are what cause the slimming. The strings are only to tighten and loosen the effect of the boning.

Sounds like torture to be more beautifull. Preatty much like a geisha has to go threw.

Geisha don't really go through torture. You don't really know much about these things, maybe you should research before saying things?

And corsets really aren't that bad other than a little trouble with taking deep breaths when wearing and a slight pinching from the boning.

Nah it's not your bad, hell I can't even draw, or even write legedly. I know olny trained teachers and very few other people can even read what I write so you did a hell of alot better than I can right now. all I could draw back then before my accident was animals, and if I was looking at a picture of them so bukus to you.
