It's been a while since I posted any Crimestrikers artwork. Now I have not only a new pic, but one created under unique circumstances.
I have a friend who's been writing Crimestrikers fanfic, which I hope to start posting soon. Many of his fics feature his OC Coco (originally Peri Sadek), a 10-year-old cat girl whose family is training her to become an agent of the Sagebrush Posse, a secret group of heroes dedicated to the memory of Audrey Claymore. Then, Outrage hires assassins to kill her family and the rest of the Posse, and she's the lone survivor. And then, Audrey suddenly emerges in the present!
Poor Coco. No wonder she's so messed up.
Anyway, Coco winds up dyeing her fur (this pic shows her original appearance) and being cared for by the Crimestrikers, because they know that someone with her background will wind up either joining the team or becoming their future enemy. Between her eccentric (but deceptively quiet) demeanor, her possession of deadly skills that no 10-year-old should have, and her worshipful attitude towards Audrey, she's proving to be quite a handful. When will you be able to read Coco's adventures? Stay tuned!
Coco's creator commissioned
Vetrina-271 to draw her; I wasn't familiar with Vetrina's work before, but I'm very pleased with the result.
