3D pokemon card Skarmory
This is a 3D shadowbox made of pokemon cards, in this case Skarmory. I plan on doing more of these in the future, and if they are popular enough I might do commissions of them. The back card is a skarmory that has not been cut, then 6 layers of cards with the pokemon box completely cut out, one layer with all but the skarmory cut out, and then 5 more layers with the entire box cut out, and assembled together using a glue stick.
Future pieces may have more layers to show more depth, using different aspects of the scene on different layers. But since this was a first attempt I went simple with it.

Thank you! This one was a real learning experience, and if we ever make another one we've learned some new tricks to make it pop even more. Unfortunately pokemon cards are quite difficult to come by these days, so we're a bit more hesitant to take them and turn them into art.
