Man, I just can't seem to stop myself in doing what happens after Boothill has that nightmare, having left off where he was rinsing his face since he woke up with a cold sweat. Afterward he goes to get a glass of water and quench his dry, raw, sore throat, hoping it helps, believing he is in no real danger from what was only a nightmare. He is lost in deep thought until he hears unfamiliar groaning outside, which startles him and takes his attention away from the mirror on the wall where he was trying to inspect anything different on his face and neck, but could barely see anything due to the dark, and not even the candlelight could reflect anything. Maybe it is just the feeling of paranoia getting to him, or maybe his tired eyes can't make out that there may be something sinister hiding in the mirror where there may be more to this nightmare and the odd sounds outside than he thinks?
