This is rather poorly written, so don’t expect anything amazing XD
But ive had quiet a few people ask about the Inca-ren and their history/story so to speak. I didn’t really have one that formed in my head, but to give a little bit of help in their development for those who want it, here is a very rough explanation of how I feel they would live!
Inca-ren were designed and © Myself. They are however open for anyone to use, story and design wise if they wish to make a character out of them. So have fun!
General Info/world:
The Inca-ren are a warm blooded reptilian looking species that live on a small planet ringed by 7 moons.
The Inca-ren while being an alien species to us, on their home world are a very primal race. They are not that advanced, living in small tight knit family communities. Being a nomadic and matriarchal species, each family group usually consists of around 15-25 members and are usually led by the oldest and strongest females of the group.
Being an almost strict carnivore the Inca-ren have very strong teeth and claws. They actually have two sets of teeth that are retractable and interchangeable. The first being large serrated fang like teeth that press the lips slightly outwards, the upper teeth resting over the outside of the jaw because of their size. These teeth come in handy for slashing and hooking onto large prey. The second set of teeth rest inside the mouth completely, and resemble much more a common canine’s tooth structure.
The Inca also have large sensitive antennae on their foreheads. These, coupled with very large fan like ears help them detect roaming creatures from way beyond eyesight (which is not that fantastic anyway.) They also have an acute sense of smell.
While the Inca are capable of making and using weapons, they tend to prefer the use of their teeth and large raptor like claws over hand held weapons. As such, they are very pack like and organised while hunting. Most of their preferred food is huge, so lone Inca-ren don’t tend to survive very well, and the family groups are essential.
Their mouth is also equipped with a very long tongue with a fine brush at the end. This serves many purposes, including raiding insect nests not unlike a ant eater, and sometimes even feeding of flower pollen on occasion.
Habitat:
Inca-ren tend to live in open plains, desert area’s or very open forests. They have a desperate fear of heights, and will not be found in any sort of cliff like area’s, and they can not climb. They are superb sprinters, and the open lands they live in are home to many large and fast creatures which they are adapted to hunt.
Inca tend to live in either caves, or some are known to set up tents as they wander.
Arts, religion and language:
The Inca-ren do practice arts and skin painting. Drums are a common musical instrument, along with a flute like instrument with 5 pan like channels that come out either side. The Inca-ren do have a written language, that are made of a series of pictorial and sweeping line brush strokes. Their family history is usually passed along in the form of dance and paintings, and some family groups have been known to have spiritual members that have each generation’s most important history scratched into their own skins.
The Inca-ren are spiritual, and usually have members such as Healers, magic woman, and often participate in dances and offerings to many different types of gods. While they do not live by any strict religious rules, the common practice is to thank the “elements” of their world that they have given names that sustains them, Lea, Grrah, Neoul and Trivath.
War and conflicts:
Being nomadic, the Inca-ren for the most part are a peaceful species to their own kind as a whole. They are very family orientated, and if this is threatened they can be extremely vicious. Some clans have been known to steal the eggs and young of other families, as more family members usually means more help with gathering and hunting. This of course causes clan skirmishes from time to time.
Young and courtship:
In the Inca-ren society, there are usually more females than males. This is not selective but natural. There is no way to tell the difference between a Inca-ren sex wise apart from large translucent prongs that rest on the males back. These are extremely important for courtship, if a male is missing prongs he has no chance.
Inca-ren do not partner for life, and one male will usually court 3-6 females during a year, depending on how many males there are. While this may happen, usually only the top 3 females of a group will actually produce young, the rest will abandon their eggs.
Young Inca-ren are covered in down all over their bodies, with only their face being exposed. Because of Inca-rens usual choice of habitat, this is needed to keep warm at night. As they grow older, the downy fur is replaced with course hair in places, and soft scales replace other area’s. They are born with a full 2 sets of teeth, and have no need to be fed any sort of milk.

Heh, funny. The backstory I came up with my Inca-Ren in a RP will actually play nice with this race info, He's a shaman of <insert name of lightning god here> and that Inca-Rens are a primitive race. Obviously, that's all I came up with, so this fills in the missing spots nicely. So, yay!
