How fun! So it is a YCH! Though more of a 'Coloring Book' YCH.
Once you got to a certain point in the sketch, did you find it easy to alter the characteristics to adapt to different species? Perhaps you reached a point in the image where you were able to make it the 'Template' and all the final versions were based on starting from that point?
