Varole is a member of the Witchclaw family. They travel around the world, trading magic gadgets, fortune telling and performing tricks among different city. Desert cats have about 25% curtain affinity and can perform harmless magic tricks.

Most city-states regard nomadic desert cats as thieves and beggars, and don't put them into the city, so they set up playhouses outside the city to perform magic and acrobatics, which are deeply loved by ordinary people and earn money to barely maintain their family life.

Varol's father is an acrobat, and her mother is a fortune-telling wizard. She learned to use glass marbles to tell her fate at an early age. Her curtain affinity is higher than that of ordinary desert cats, about 47%. She can observe the world through other people's eyes and inject magic into glass marbles to gain a vision. The heads of the Witchclaw family were executed, and others were to be sold into slaves. Just then, Kasumi intervened. She used the queen's power to protect the surviving desert cats temporarily, and then investigated the fire incident with Varole. She used her divination ability to find out the arsonist, and the clue pointed directly to another family, so the matter went away, and the surviving desert cats were released. Varole was very grateful for Kasumi's help, so she joined the rangers, Nicknamed Sight.
