I've kept forgetting to post these for years, and every so often people make comments that remind me I need to, if for no other reason than to have something to point to when people ask certain questions...
Anyhow, many years back,
Furnygma did a whole commission theme of characters as Green (or otherwise) Lanterns from DC comics. I got both Sara/Skunkworks done as a Green Lantern, using her ring to create an armour construct for herself; and Jenora as a member of the Indigo Tribe. Indigo is always been the poor and ignored part of the various Lantern Corps, but the emotion associated with Indigo is Compassion, and Indigo tend to be wanderers, so it seemed perfect for Jenora.
(Then he dropped off FA, deleted back posts, then came back, I thought to ask for copies and posting permission because I hadn't posted them myself, and then after I got another commission he disappeared again.)

Yeah, the design is pretty much 'late silver age comic book cover', isn't it? The dynamic pose and linework from comics, along with the broader colour palette that you could only get on covers at first, until they started using better paper with the direct market becoming a bigger thing by the end of the 80s.
