"...so get the hell OUT!"
With all the emphasis on four-'mon teams, the teams that are made up of only three or two sometimes get overlooked or underestimated. Doing that with these two would be a big mistake, though.
On the right is Axel Hammerstein, a nearly 8' tall Charizard who's just as likely to stomp you flat, bite you in half, burn you to ashes or just scare you senseless depending on how much he dislikes you. His Salamence and Feraligatr heritage has given him a look that's pretty much designed to terrorize, and he can put it to very good use along with his highly aggressive moveset. An opponent's best bet is to try and out-speed him, and do whatever it takes to keep him from getting airborne and putting some of his nastiest moves into action.
...of course, he's also got backup. That would be Draco Danielson, on the left (yes, the non-dragon is named Draco... ironic isn't it?) Though his moveset isn't as brutal as his much larger friend, he makes up for it with a small arsenal of status effect moves that harm opponents and help his side, plus he's just quick enough to dodge all those big hits. Not to say he couldn't hold his own in a stand-up fight, but considering it's just as effective to leave an opponent confused or poisoned while Scary'zard crashes down on them like a flaming ton of bricks, he'd just as soon not bother.
If you still want to try and kick them out of their house, be warned that they don't take very kindly to those who try to serve eviction notices.

*both Draco and Axel pretend to look shocked*
<Axel> Oh, oh man! She found us out, bro!
<Draco> Daaaaamn, you're right! She must be some kinda legend or something, she saw right through us!
<Axel> Yeah, I mean... we're only seniors here.
<Draco> And we've only averaged two battles a week since we started, so that's... how many?
<Axel> *counting on his claws* Uh, one two three four fi- just over two hundred.
<Draco> Okay. So seniors, over two hundred battles together, what else... oh! You had The Belt for a while too!
<Axel> *shrugs and acts bashful* Aw, it was just a month.
<Draco> Yeah c'mon, but still...
<Axel> Okay okay okay! So seniors, two hundred battles, Belt holder... *pause* yeah, we really haven't done jack!
<Draco> *shakes his head* Nope. Complete nobodies.
<Axel> Well, good thing we have Miss Legend here to show us how it's really done then!
<Draco> Yeah, how about you tell us all about the many, many groundbreaking achievements in your... umm...
<Axel> *leans over, whispers loudly* Two.
<Draco> Oh oh yeah. In your two years at this school!
<Axel> So we may properly stand in awe, of course.
<Draco> Right.

<Draco> Right.
Akina: *chuckles loudly* Hah, witty sarcasm, I like that. But let me clarify something, boys. Firstly, I don't give a damn on how many trophies, belts or other items you show off. True cavaliers don't brag with their records and achievements, but always stay humble and fair. So with you to bragging about how many battles you won you just put yourself on my list of overblown showoffs, right between the whole Team Jet and that Blaziken Jean.
Jean: *walks by* Hey, I heard that, Bonefield! And I'm far from being a showoff, all my claims of being a surpreme fighter are backed up by my records. And my studly physique~ *smirks*
Akina: Like I said, showoffs.
Jean: ...
Akina: *turns back to the Umbreon and Charizard* Secondly, I'm on this school for 3 years now, not 2. Seems someone either needs to do more research or take some extra math coaching. Thirdly, I'm no legend, and never claimed so, even if I have traits others don't have. So what? So I have aquired awesome reflexes, a sense of balance and learned the technique to cut things with blunt objects and use probably the most unique mix of fencing and samurai battle skills of any student on this school. Yes, that makes me special, but so is pretty much everyone in this student body. *shoulders her bonekatana*
And believe me...until you showed me your strenght in the arena, I won't admit your abilities, especially not if you two brag around. And even if you proved yourself, I still won't scuttle away in fear from you and bow everytime you pass me in the hall. Never.

<Draco> *rolls his eyes* Oh, I see. You're one of those types.
<Axel> *shrugs* Welp. Okay, miss I'm Too Good To Brag, you can have fun with your little gimmick weapon there that everyone in the locker room snickers at behind your back-
<Draco> Dude! Don't tell her that!
<Axel> What? They do!
<Draco> Well still!
<Axel> ANYWAY, you just go ahead and have fun on your moral high ground. Because uh, frankly... we don't give a damn!
<Draco> Yeah, unless you sign report cards or scouting reports for pro leagues, impressing you is not exactly that high up on the priority list. It's like, way, way, way down there.
<Axel> Very way down there.
*they turn and start to leave*
<Draco> Dude, why did you tell her that?!
<Axel> C'mon, she was gonna find out eventually anyway!
<Draco> She thinks Team Jet are a bunch of unskilled showoffs, she's obviously not that observant...
<Axel> Okay, okay, maybe, but still...
*aaand they're gone*

Akina: *yells after them* You know, you two should take that "finishing each others lines" number to the stage, you could make millions with that. You could put your Umbreon buddy onto your thighs and act like Ventriloquist and puppet. Sitting on each others thighs surely isn't a new thing for you two either~
Also, clean your ears, glowface, I said Team Jet are a bunch of overblown showoffs, not unskilled. In fact, I think they'll whip the floor with you guys.
OKay, out of rp now, these two seem to be a bit of jerks, but they seem quite interesting, and the picture is looking very nice. You maybe open for commissions soon?

They're horrible braggarts to be sure, but it's mostly because at this point they care more about making sure they lock in one of those pro league contracts that are up for grabs, rather than getting recognition from the underclassmon that they'll likely never see again after graduating. If you get away from the whole topic of battling they're really pretty decent guys. Plus they are pretty damn good at what they do, they've been working as a team so long that they're practically like brothers now... as you probably noticed.
And no, no commissions. My urge to draw and what to draw comes and goes on a whim so I couldn't promise a timely result, and I would never feel right about accepting money for something I do for fun anyway. :P

Yeah, I guessed that they were only playing it for the ring. My Blaziken Jean is that way too, he is a horrible, horrible show off and turns everything into competition, and like these two can actually back all of it up, much to many people's dismay. But he can still be quite the nice, caring guy if you can overlook that rather annoying side of him. x3
Awwww, but how about a trade then maybe? I could see me conjuring enough spirit to write my guys interacting with yours guys, and when you feel like it you could draw your guys interacting with mine. XD
As we have seen Akina and the two would probably do a lot of trashtalk before a match. XD

I'll think about it, but really can't make any promises. When I draw/write stuff for other people it's just because I got a random little idea that stuck around long enough for me to act on it, seems like when I try to focus on a specific thing it either doesn't happen or ends up very lackluster compared to my other stuff. Wouldn't be fair for me to agree to something knowing I may not hold up my end of it.
