She's fighting on his terms right now. There's not a damn thing she can do because he has a perfect counter to it. Any chance to win involves beating his perfect preparations.
Though in the end, if he carries out his mission, the Hero won't be a hero anymore (and yeah I've read XXXVI). Nothing good comes from violation, regardless the motivations or justifications.

I am waiting at this point for her to figure out a way to turn the tables on him. Mostly because to an extent I find that he's starting to seem exceedingly cocky about the situation. Like he seems to have this all figured out, but yet all he seems to be doing right now is ticking the dragon off and no longer doing anything else.
Also, to be fair to the dragon, if her story is true, she's basically fufilling the prophecy anyways, so its fate at work here.

At this point I really need to see the kobold being torn down by like 20 pegs. Braver is, at this point, simply unlikable and really, really cocky, especially when he's just casually throwing aside the dragon's backstory and asserting that the dragon is just doing as it does for the thrill of the fight.
At this point, he's too annoying. Give the dragon a flurry of hits, a town to burn to throw him off his game, just SOMETHING so that this stops being a one-sided stomp fest that ends in rape!
