I made this while I'm currently working on a fantasy book trilogy, and this is one of the main characters that has many different forms as the series goes on. His name is Crooks, a young misfit who loves to play pranks and annoy his friend Aasti whenever he visits her in Elmswhorm. He used to be an Ecoredan, AKA a forest elf that can learn magic and is born again through the cycle of reincarnation, but he was mysteriously transformed into a Wenjyk as he lacked a sense of belonging in his own home village.

The Wenjyks reside underground in the Egris Mines, a pitch-black multitude of caverns that contain various metal ores and is governed by King Fraenor. Using their long limbs and talons, the residents are able to easily scale the steep rock walls and specialize in crafting and smithing. Their white eyes allow them to see clearly in the darkness and their thick skin allows them to endure the lack of warmth. The Wenjyks are mainly quadripeds, but can switch to being bipedal if they had to. They have a peaceful but strained relationship with the Ecoredans, often not trusted due to their bestial nature and allegedly unhinged behavior.
