IT'S FINALLY FINISHED AAAAAAA


Well this took forever - a year less 9 days, in fact. It's Flick and Cherry from Animal Crossing! Apart from a quick drawing of Flick I did after he was first revealed last year, I'm pretty sure this is my first Animal Crossing fanart. Speaking of that reveal, I watched streamer and jabroni extraordinaire Vinesauce Vinny's reaction to the trailer. He took one look at Flick and said "that's Cherry's boyfriend." Soooo... this happened! Or it started to, anyway. I think I did all the sketching back in last February, then did the lines and colours this February. I wasn't a fan of how Flick turned out originally, but when I came back to it this year I surprisingly found that my interpretation of him had grown on me. The sketch held up better than I expected given the time gap.


And what's with the shirts? Well, the aforementioned jabroni has a band called Red Vox, which I'm also a fan of. The title of this drawing is actually a reference to my favourite song of theirs, off their second album: (link) I mocked up some shirt designs; Flick's references the same song, and Cherry's references their first album as a whole. (And I DEFINITELY didn't do it just so I could post this on the Vinesauce booru. *cough*)
