Meet the M'ryk (M-air-ick), a self proclaimed sub-species of Ferake (Fae-rah-key), that are actually more of a magically created accident.
Typical M'ryk vary slightly from each other by head shape, fur, and tail. The eyes are almost always different to some degree with the exception of the one in their forehead. M'ryk eyes cannot see in the same way as most normal creatures, having the innate and permanent ability to read magic down to the rawest form.
They're not actually related to Ferake save for their creation being a result of things Ferake did in the past. They're more akin to a kind of mimic, a failed attempt at producing an Imbued synthetically, only for them to escape out into the wild and flourish. They seem serious or mysterious, but in reality they're goofballs. They don't hold merit in the truth of their creation, yet will covet the company of a Ferake if given the opportunity. They do claim themselves to be a sub-species of Ferake, and despite their inability to control magic in a stable manner, they are can eerily read it in the same way one might feel emotions; to a degree even Imbued cannot fathom. Magic to a M'ryk is familiar yet foreign in a strange way, leading to all manner of descriptions and explanations which simply do not seem realistic. The vast majority of them are pacifists, making conflicts with them a strange dance of words that many Ferake find unnerving.
I plan to create a 3D model of these guys in due time, but for now I need to focus on some other things. If you have questions about the M'ryk then feel free to ask, I've been building them up as a new species alongside the Ferake for awhile and didn't come to a final design for them until recently.
