Save the last dance for me (by Tamplior)
The pic was inspired by this song
It's well known that for many nobles, grand balls are nothing more than an opportunity to cement business relationships and future alliances.
For other royals, much more eccentric, the dance is nothing more than the vertical expression of a horizontal desire, and therefore they take the most beautiful guest they can lay
their eyes on with them, and use it in order to attract even more attention on themselves.
Prince Borgon never approved either of the two conducts. Especially considering that the dances at the castle of Valmeridia are usually arranged for pure entertainment,
or to celebrate happy events, and therefore they are attended by the most varied guests: from the sovereign to the commoner, from the rich to the poor,
from the sumptuous noble to the simple peasant.
And so it happens sometimes that the prince, after the pleasantries and the first "warm-up" dances, actually goes around the room with an absorbed attitude,
his arms behind his back, his golden eyes moving left and right, until he finds a lady or a gentleman left, for one reason or another, without a partner to dance.
And it is then that, with a polite manner, he extends a hand to them and comes forward, inviting them to join the next dance with him.
And it doesn't matter if that someone is dressed in sparkling or modest clothes, the ruler of Valmeridia will treat his partner for the ball
as he would do with a real prince, or with a delightful princess~This very nice pic is from
Tamplior. I had the pleasure to work with her and she's very patient and nice. Also, her style is adorable, don't you think?
