It really bothers me that he's actually sticking around, or not losing his shit at all. They invited him and then took away his powers without asking, ruining what he depended on for his job. On top of that, they have the gall to not replace what they took and still act like they're his friends.
Really the only option is demand his powers back or have everybody hate them when he goes home for depriving a city of a fireproof firefighter.
