Don't worry, I'm better. This image was drawn for a post on my Telegram channel (it's in Russian, so I don't see any point in PR).
I will answer the comments later, when I gain strength.
I reply to private messages a little faster, but also with difficulty due to the language barrier.

I know English approximately at the A1-A2 level. But I almost always use a translator to get it done faster. I translate the same text 8 times to check the changes when translating the same. If there are changes that distort the meaning, I redo the text so that the meaning does not change. My native language is Russian, despite the fact that I was born and live in Uzbekistan.
Thank you!
Thank you!
There are levels of English, if you try to apply for a job outside your own country .....
if I was to apply for an English speaking job, I'd also have to go through the test to know how much I am able to handle and if I can take the job
people who know English since childhood don't know the struggle lol

Sort of..."English" is a bastard language as it's a mix of everything else. So it's "latin" based since most of the languages that make it are of that. Me? I've tried learning other languages. Brain just refuses to wrap around it. So anyone that speaks another tongue. No matter how fluent, if it's enough to communicate safely? (Not upset or cause fights) then they're smarter then most in my opinion
well lol I am just speaking from experience haha
Since I live in Latvia I know Latvian language, was supposed to learn Russian language in school, but I was never interested in it, so I skipped my lessons as a kid .... and in teenage years was okay-ish in English lessons.
only around year 2012, I could say I was much better with my English knowledge when I was talking to people much more often, rather than typing paragraphs or comments online, I just took a liking to voice calls ;u;
Now? ..... I have issues finding a job place in my country.
Country Latvia, official language Latvian language ..... makes sense right?
but because Russians had power over Latvia after WW2, a lot of them stayed here after we got our own independence over the long years ....
but since a lot of them stayed here we have a lot of people who are stubborn to learn my country's language
because
"oh they are Latvians, they know Russian language, why should I put an effort to speak in Latvian? lol"
so because of this a lot of job places ask you as a recommendation to know both languages ...
I was mad, that I can't even work as a clean-up lady because I don't know that other language!
just very outrageous and annoying to me. And yet .... I still haven't had to use Russian language actively, because I just answer in English haha
ehhhh ..... I am glad my friend somewhat "saved" me and suggested me to work at a place where my English knowledge can be used, and not to think about awkward situations not knowing Russian language
.... maybe I am biased, because English can be hard at times, but ... at the same time it almost feels like the "global language" for everyone to communicate in. At times I even prefer to speak in that language than my own, because it feels like I can express myself more .... in a weird way my own language lacks some expressions that are just much more known in English.
