Ah, well, they had a laff. Next year, it's back to the Royals colours... and Spitfires play.

I think they gave us all a taste of Spitfire play this season. Hope they at least keep it somewhat clean next season, lest they earn a reputation even more unpleasant than the jokers of the league.

With MORGAN as Captain? Don't count on "clean".

The Rocky Mountain team hasn't been respected since the 1979/1980 season, their last season as an AMATEUR team. In 1980, they joined the FBA, and it all went to pot.

So, yeah. Not much of a reputation to uphold here, which leaves them feeling... free.

There's really something magnificent about seeing a character for the first time. We've read plenty about these two guys and I've had sort of vague ideas of what they might look like, but seeing them like this sort of completes the story.

I knew Munt had to be one nasty ugly mofo, and this capture that while still being the image of an athlete. And McColl has always been difficult for me to picture, but this seems just right-- big and a little Teddy bearish. That looks like someone who would be a pro basketball player but might go along with a team going loony.

And the contrast of black and pink... Are there any two colors that could go worse together?? Awesome job, JT!!!

Worse? Man, Pink and Black look GREAT together. Just ask the Hart Brothers!

Since Munt is an intimidating inside force, I figured he'd not only be an ugly mofo, but also have certain elements of toughness to him. The nose ring (snout ring?) seemed to work for him, since he knows he's tough and ugly and might as well push that element to the extreme. ^^

McColl was a little tougher, because I didn't know much about his personality. He is a long time veteran player, and he can't afford to be too serious playing on the Rabble. I thought he'd be tough when he needed to be, and personable at other times. Someone who might pat you on the back and say "Good job" even if they're on the other team.

And I agree with Mr. IM. Black goes with everything, especially hot pink. But they are very contrasting in mood (dark/evil vs. pretty/girly). That pink and orange though.... THAT'S some bad color combination! XD

I did know, I just didn't have a lot of time. I was in the middle of moving, but I knew that B-Hop needed them done fast or else they wouldn't be relevant anymore. Plus I didn't get the internet until the day I finished them, heh.
