deeterrabbit on Twitter pointed out to me Fawcett's Animal Fair comics, which got an introduction from Hoppy the Marvel Bunny but who doesn't seem to have actually run in the comic. Still, that brought me to a couple of more interesting-looking characters and poses, like this one from the lead story in Animal Fair #1, ``A Knight Is Born''. Here Freckles the Poet addresses the audience and explains the origin of Sir Spot, the Lion-Hearted Leopard. You can see the original at https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=73795 page 4. Original art by Bill Brady.
I did this as I have the last couple days' pictures, using the original art as reference to trace out the main shapes. I'm not sure if the trouble is that there are fewer major shapes in this or just that, because of personal problems, I was not feeling it today. But this came out a bit too loose and shaky and I'm tempted to redo the whole thing. I really like his expression in the original nad I don't have a fraction the charm of that. I am happy with how his cape and gloves came out, at least.
