BAB: What is your name, sir?
Odin: Odin Ashcroft, from Ashcroft Investigations.
BAB: Ooh, an detective, huh? Well, let's see your searching skills are up to my newest feat: the disappearing spell!
(the audience gasps)
BAB: Are you ready, Mr. Ashcroft?
Odin: Ready when you are!
(BAB starts chanting a spell while waving his arms, creating black magic energy on his hands. Once he finishes chanting, the stage is covered by a flash for a second, and then... Odin was still in place, intact)
BAB: I... I don't understand! It worked just fine back at home...
Odin: Um... Mr. Black Arts? Are you getting shorter?
BAB: Wait, what?...
(BAB looks down on himself. He is sloly shrinking! His clothes were getting baggier by the second as the Beagle starts panicking. Odin is surprised, and the audience gasps in worry)
BAB: Oh my god, I must have used a shrinking spell by mistake, and I must have aimed it at myself! (BAB says while trying to hold his falling pants with one hand and fixing his mask with the other. Most people of the audience were whispering to one another, scared at what is going on. Some have even sneaked out of the theater!)
Odin: How is that possible?
BAB: Maybe I used the wrong gestures while chanting, which in turn made the spell backfire, and I must have mispronounced one of the words!
(BAB could barely keep his gloves on while most of his clothing was already touching the floor. Odin looks concerned)
Odin: Can't you reverse it right now?
BAB: No way! I can't risk on using another wrong spell by accident! Besides, with the position I am in right now, I'd probably end up tearing my clothes apart and appear naked in front of the audience!
(As BAB continues sinking into his own clothing, the curtains close, while the audience continues flabbergasted. Odin grab BAB's clothing with him still on them and runs to the dressing room)
The second part of a request by
odin8898 of his OC, Odin, and Black Arts Beagle from Ducktales 2017. Drawing such a complex ouftit like BAB's is very difficult, specially when it's dismatling. Also, I didn't knew what to do about his piercing, since I had no ref for how accessories like that react to this kind of shrinking, so It looks a bit awkward I must say.

I knew I was going to enjoy seeing where this trick was going...even if it backfires~<3
Still, I do appreciate your hard work on this, and I know what you mean when it comes to shrinking and piercings. Most work I tend to see on the subject to have such things pop off at a certain point, especially for ear piercings, so any future projects with characters with such accessories, might want to consider like a cartoonish 'ping' as it pops off, or dangle in the air as one shrinks downward like Wile E. Coyote plummeting off a cliff. Definitely would work with your style =D
Also, thanks for the additional bits of story to these pics, as it really adds to the whole experience =D
