I'm going straight through a Line 6 Toneport GX plugged into my PC, it comes with Gearbox Amp modelling software. It's cheaper, and easier, than buying a sound board then getting a sound card that you can connect it to.
The guitar is a Jackson DK2 with Elixir strings. The bass is a shitty £40 Encore P-bass (I think) Copy. The drums where programmed using EZDrummer and FruityLoops. And I used REAPER to record all the guitars after I rendered the drums into MP3.

wow thats alot, when i record i go to my local sam ash or go to my uncle garage recording studio, i use one of my three main guitars. a 1995 jackson soloist, 1991 fender statocaster or a 1973 gibsson sg. i tend to use a marshal amp, or a raven am with a crybaby petal, or a vox distortiion pedal, my friends play the rest of the instruments.
