I was really pleased to get the bursts of sunlight reflecting off the frets of my new Ovation Legend. One of the most beautiful features of this baby is the sound hole rosette. On many ovation models, the abalone is encased in a plastic ring that is glued onto the body. But here, the rosette is inlaid.

I agree. Normally, I prefer one that shows the wood finish, but there is something about a black guitar that calls to me. My first guitar is also all-black.
