This is a kestrel fledgling at the raptor center I intern at. One of 6 in an outdoor enclosure in the rehab area(closed to the public) who will be released when they're fully fledged. Most were brought in because people assume baby birds are abandoned because mom flies from the nest to get food. *head desk*

If you ever have a question about a bird you see I can tell you more about them. Some are residents and some are rehabs or birds that only stuck around a short time.
