I really happy with the way this came out:3 Originally I just sat down to mess around with this song and ended up with a pretty nice rhythm guitar and vocal track so I decided to work with It a bit more. It gave me a great excuse to try out my new organ too! I think my skills have improved a bit since the last of my uploads that featured an organ ^^ I still don't claim to be a keyboardist yet but I'm getting better.
The original can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DyjH7yYIAXw
The instrumentation is as follows and was all played by myself:
Vocals and rhythm guitar (Rainsong COWS-1100) over head mic'd
Lead guitar (also Rainsong C0WS-1100) Body joint mic'd
Hammond M3 Chop Mic'd Fender/Leslie Speaker
The Organ is a M3 (also known as a mini B3) Chop which means it has been cut up into pieces that can be put together so it to fit into road cases. The bulky lower half has been chopped away and the guts have been consolidated into an an old amp head which sits below it. It has also had a few other cool mods. The Bottom manual is run though a pedal that breaks up the sine wave so it can play bass octaves and the leslie speaker I am running it through is a chop as well with the actual speaker replaced with a old fender amp that is hooked up to foot switches to control the overdrive, reverb and the leslie motor. The only thing it lacks right now is a foot pedal board which I'm not cool enough to know how to play anyway.
The bottom line is that thing sounds Friggin sweet! I have named her Pearl.

I mean on guitar, and yes I have the song on my iPod too. I'm glad there are people who share my musical interests too. I've noticed a lot of furs that seem to like very bad, or really simplistic and dull music. I tried to be nicer about it and be fair to their stuff and give it a try, but eventually some really bad songs made me tell myself that it was ok to like what I like and dislike what I disliked. This song has been quite the song for me in the past. In the past I played 3 gigs in a row. The first gig it broke a string on my acoustic/electric guitar, the second gig it broke a string on my electric guitar, the third gig it had become so epic that the monitors were smoking and actually briefly caught fire in mid song x3
Not at this point it didn't. It was either full on or full off since it's only control was a jury rigged power strip with an on/off switch. I now have it hooked up to power via rheostat that allows me to have infinit variability. You should listen to this one to hear the first test of the thing after it was hooked up to that thing: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5357629/
