6 slices of bread
2 tablespoons of butter
½ cup of raisins
4 eggs
2 cups of milk
¾ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the over to 350. Tear the bread into quarter sized pieces and put it into an 8 in square pan. Pour the melted butter over the bread. Mix all of the other ingredients in a bowl and beat as well as you can. Pour the mixture over the bread and if you want, sprinkle it with raisins. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top rises and becomes relatively firm.
