Me and
Zeelo were just trying to take a nice nap and not causing mischief for once. And still somehow things like this happen. An open windows blows some loose yarn into the shrink ray, and suddenly it goes off, shrinking the two kittens who are completely unaware of their every dwindling state as they lay fast asleep.
The ray's not going to stop firing until someone comes in and notices it, and we're not moving from our spots while we're asleep... And even once we did wake up we'd probably be too small to actually get out of the range of the shrink ray it's beam would be so big. We're not gonna be visible to the naked eye by the time anyone finds us. Hopefully seeing the shrink ray zapping at the bed will let them figure out what happened... And not accidentally open the door and walk into the beam without noticing.
Either way, we'll wind up far less than microscopic by the time this is over. Perhaps we'll be on the atomic scale. Subatomic kittens smaller than an atom. Or maybe even quarks. Or... Given know one knows how long it'll be before the ray is turned off we might get to play with Planck length universe string again.
