One unusual custom order back from 2018. I was totally inexperienced in making the wings - especially butterfly wings - so it was hard to find the way to sculpt them. However, that days I invented completely new technique for the work, which was later improved and used in other sculptures.
This butterfly is a Crimson Moth pet from World of Warcraft. Made of both polymer and velvet (air-dry) clay, painted with acrylic colors and covered with matte lacquer. Natural sand was used for the base, the stone was sculpted. By the way - it was also my first experience of making the stone base for sculpture.
