These are two characters from an old-as-dirt, half finished novel I wrote back in high school. Yes, I am currently in the process of rewriting and finishing it. All... three hundred pages. Ugh.

Anyway, this is Grigori (the elf) and Alcwyn (the ogre). They're celestial envoys for the god of pestilence and are, in essence, the first vampires known to their world.

Grigori is the brains of the outfit, a "reformed" thief who knows how to plan and can pretty much convince anyone of anything. Alcwyn is the brawn, a former colosseum trial with the mind of a child and the instincts of a bear.
