One of the lesser glorious (yet none the less important) jobs was the escorting of wounded bombers from Ko'Jan airspace back to E'Fo'Nan. Duri g the later middle stages of the war, EIAF bombers started operating from Mo'Gu to bomb targets in Northern Yn'Ko amd had to fly over the Ho'An Strait between the two. At first KRSAF fighters would desimate these wounded craft and the EIN would soon station a small carrier force in the Strait to provide a fighter screen for bombers returning home. The ships also provided a defensive point to protect the Mo'Gu coast, provided AA fire againt KRSAF aircraft, and provide Search and Rescue for any aircraft that had to ditch. Here a damaged KN-73-2 crosses the Strait as a KN-19Q-3 provides cover. The camo patterns for both air craft were determined by the EIAF for the bombers to be concealed on the ground as ot was deemed pointless to try and hide the massive plane as it was in the air, while the KN-19Q and most naval aircraft were done to try and conceal it while in the air and on the deck of carriers, as after Operation Hurricane all carrier flight decks along with most ships were painted blue with a wavy and disrubtive pattern, not to nessicarrily hide them but to make them harder to identify.
