Strangely, this is extremely catchy. I've heard this effect used with many rap projects (rather unsuccessfully) but this seems to work flawlessly. This is a very unique idea~ to use this sort of vocal effect with a fast paced funk groove is truly a pioneer's work, remixing another bands song or not. Keep an eye on that effect! There's probably hundreds of pieces that would reach perfection with it.
