One of these days I'm gonna weasel out your method for making them

You don't have to weasel it out of me! It's pretty easy.
I paint the whiteware china with china paints mixed with oils. Using a crowquill pen, I ink the black lines using black china paint thinned way down. After firing, I use brushes to paint in the other colors. This piece took three fires to make it as dark as I wanted it.
The porcelain I buy from a distributor is already white glazed.

These are beautiful! I really love how it came out. The colours as usual work really well but its so vibrant and unique seeing it on ceramics. Fantastic work! If you come back to FE I'd love to indulge in one of these!
