Vlad's nickname for it is "The Boom Blade"
It's pretty much a recoil-less rifle, but it fires a charged particle round, generated in the golden colored cylinder at the butt end - pretty much a massive anti-craft weapon. A comparable caliber weapon would be (if the eyen exist) a 133mm tank cannon, in terms of round power. The blade part of it is what makes it Vlad's favorite weapon - if he's in close quarters with said gun, he drops the particle accelerator at the butt end and hefts it by the barrel, making it a formidable battle axe.
